BUILDING OPERATORS ACHIEVE LEED AP ACCREDITATION

After several years of successfully training service workers to become Green Associates, the 32BJ Training Fund announced that for the first time, two of their members achieved LEED AP O+M accreditation.

The 32BJ Training Fund offers over 150 industry courses at no cost to eligible union members. According to Linda Nelson, Director of the Training Fund, it seeks to “become the foundation for a truly integrated approach to operating green buildings, especially LEED-certified buildings.”

eQUEST Modeling for ASHRAE 90.1

This two-day training shares the technical skills necessary for modeling commercial and multifamily buildings in eQUEST. The course is based on the requirements outlined in ASHRAE Standard 90.1 2013, as used in Modeling for LEED v4, ENERGY STAR Multifamily High Rise and Code Compliance.
