When Ban Ki Moon became Secretary General of the United Nations, he announced a plan for the UN Headquarters to “become a globally acclaimed model of efficient use of energy and resources.” Over the past 10 years, the headquarters has executed their Capital Master Plan to complete a significant renovation, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and technology improvements.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the UN and learn about the sustainable renovations and resiliency initiatives that were developed post-Superstorm Sandy.

This tour is open to Urban Green Council members only.
