What is this training about?
GPRO Construction Management provides students with sustainability best practices and actionable strategies for every phase of construction. Learn how to avoid common construction mistakes and leave the training with practical steps to manage successful, sustainable and cost-effective projects.
What will you learn?
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Explain the key coordination issues and documentation requirements that are unique to high-performance construction at each stage of a project
- Describe the responsibilities of the construction manager and project team to ensure building performance
- Implement sustainable construction processes and communicate required information to subcontractors and trades
- Coordinate testing, inspection, and commissioning activities to ensure intended performance
Who is this training for?
This 8-hour training is ideal for a range of construction professionals, including: construction managers, general contractors, experienced tradespersons, trade forepersons, owner’s representatives, project managers, site superintendents, estimators, students and others interested in entering the building and construction industry.
How does this training work?
Class sessions will be held over two days virtually on Zoom, led by a highly knowledgeable instructor with industry experience.
Day 1: DAY, MOMTH XX, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Day 2: DAY, MONTH XX, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Registration includes access to a course ebook, flashcards, practice exam, and the official GPRO exam in addition to six on-demand electives. Students who pass the exam with an 80% or higher become a GPRO Certificate Holder.
